Eligibility

The SING Workshop is open to community college students, university undergraduate students and graduate students, and individuals who would like to continue their education in the sciences.

  • This workshop is open to all Native peoples from anywhere in the Americas, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and members of Canadian First Nation or Metis communities. Documentation should be provided by either (1) evidence of tribal enrollment or certification of Indian status recognized by a government, or (2) a statement outlining the applicant’s Native ancestry.
  • 200 word summary of applicant's background (focused on education or experiences that relate to the SING workshop)
  • 500 word essay on applicant’s purpose for attending the workshop
